We offer different day trips or trekking tours around the three Gili Islands and Lombok, guided in English, German and Indonesian language.
Dolphin trips:
Early in the morning it is possible to go and see the dolphins playing between Lombok and Bali.
Fishing trips:
Fishing is one of the highlight activities on the Gili Islands.
You can rent a fishing rod if you are not familiar with the traditional-style of fishing. Afterwards it is possible to have a BBQ either on the boat or at the beach and enjoy the sunset.
Snorkeling and Diving trips:
The Gili Islands are very popular for diving and snorkeling because of their spectacular diversity of marine life. You can go and snorkel right in front of Gili Air Santay but we also offer guided trips around the three Gili Islands. In comparison to the Great Barrier Reef (1,500 species) and Red Sea (600 species), 25 % of all reefs in the world are in Indonesia. The drop-offs, plateaus and slopes of the Gili's reflect a good cross-section of what Indonesia has to offer. Dive in and be fascinated by turtles, White-tip Reef Sharks, Cuttlefish, Mandarian fish, Frogfish, Moray Eels, Angel Fish, Ghost Pipefish and many, many more. Around the three Gili Island in the north-west of Lombok (Gili Air, Gili Meno, Gili Trawangan), we have more then 15 different dive spots
and there are new reefs being explored all the time.
Tetebatu trip:
Where rice terraces, rainforest and tobacco fields meet and wild nature blends with local Sasak culture you will discover a unique scenic experience. At the bottom of Rinjani volcano in Lombok we will visit a traditional pottery and hand weaving village, see how the tobacco processing works and we will have a walk to a beautiful waterfall “jeruk manis”. There the sounds of tropical forest birds soon give way to the thunder of the waterfall.
Mt. Rianjani trekking tours:
We also offer 2 or 3 day trip trekking tours to the peak of Mount Rianjani in Lombok.
Mt. Rianjani is a volcano and is Indonesia’s second highest peak 3726 m.
There are several things to do and see, for example caves, healing hot springs, lakes, etc.
The national park has a rich variety of plants and animals; among others you can see monkeys, deer, wild pigs, leopard cats and porcupines.
The village of Senaru is the main entrance to Gunung Rinjani National Park. The spectacular crater, the lake Segara Anak is the destination of many pilgrims who place offerings in the water and bathe away disease.
Senaru Trip:
Senaru’s best known attraction is the Sendang Gila waterfall which attracts many thousands of Indonesian and foreign visitors annually. The brave may even venture for an exhilarating bath behind the white water curtain – the local people believe this to be a cure for disease. The Senaru traditional village is worth a visit.
The Sasak inhabitants are the cultural guardians of Mount Rinjani and its surrounding forest and safeguard its spiritual values. Sometimes they show traditional stick fighting, music and dance performances.
